In a significant development in the sensational Honeymoon murder of Indore-based transporter Raja Raghuvanshi in Meghalaya, the Meghalaya police's SIT has made an important breakthrough today with the help of Indore police crime branch by recovering a country-made pistol and magazines that are believed to be linked to Sonam and Raj. East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem informed that Today afternoon that on the leads that Meghalaya SIT has got after initial interrogation of the accused property dealer Silom James, a country-made pistol with two magazines and two .32 ammunition was recovered by SIT from a stream in Indore. And Rs50000 from his car( MP09WG 2352) which he took out from the laptop bag of Raj. The bag is burnt and the laptop is claimed to be thrown by the roadside and could not be found. Meghalaya SIT is yet to find the whereabouts of the jewellery that Sonam has supportedly taken back from Meghalaya to Indore after Raja was killed on May 23.
