"We as a society have begun to recognise toxicity of marriages quite late. As a society we need to recognize that these are established experiences of young Indians, men and women. Once we recognize them, we can be able to regulate it. I don't mean through law but we can also make them more accountable," says Parul Bhandari, Sociologist, University of Cambridge.
