TM Krishna Sings Ashoka's Edicts On Justice

Celebrated Carnatic singer TM Krishna has given a musical form for King Ashoka's edicts in the original Prakrit language. These are ethics of Ashoka's governance, which were inscribed during his reign. on rocks and pillar, particularly after he embraced Buddhism following the Kalinga war that witnessed huge bloodshed. The singer feels Ashoka's principles are all the more relevant in this phase of what he calls normalisation of hatred and violence.
