9 Dead In Fire At Hotel Used As Covid Care Facility In Andhra

Nine coronavirus patients were killed in a huge fire that broke out at a hotel which was being used as a COVID-19 facility in Andhra Pradesh's Vijaywada early this morning. There were reportedly 30 Covid patients at the hotel facility at the time of the accident. The fire broke out at 5 am, officials said, adding that it was brought under control within 30 minutes. The fire is suspected to have started on ground floor and spread to first and second floor, officials said.
