Union Minister Nitin Gadkari made it clear that he is not in the race for the prime minister's post and said Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister again. "I am not a dark horse. I don't have an agenda. I don't want to become Prime Minister," Mr Gadkari told NDTV. "I am confident that Modi ji will become the PM. I am sure that the BJP will get majority and form the govt under Modi ji," he said. The Union Minister said in the 2014 election, there was an anti-incumbency wave against the Congress-UPA government and that PM Modi "gave people hope".
